Instructor
Dave Deppen is a leader in Green Architecture, with over 30 years’ experience in innovative ecological design and green projects. Dave has worked with pioneering Eco Design luminaries such as Malcolm Wells and Sim Van der Ryn.
His projects range from a regional center for the New York Botanical Gardens, to eco homes, to a nature-oriented child center, to university and college buildings and health centers.
Dave designed the first LEED Platinum community college building in the United States: the Kirsch Center at De Anza College. The Kirsch Center was the winner of the first Livable Buildings award from the nation’s leading organization of building scientists.
