How to prepare for revolutionary new career paths in green building. Soon most of the Bay Area and major cities across the U.S. will mandate green certification for all new and remodeled buildings (including residential). These cities will require Certified Green Building Professionals to assure that green standards are met. This course explains the fundamentals of the certification systems, with an emphasis on understanding and preparinG for the LEED-Accredited Professional exam. For the first time it’s possible for non-architects to enter the architecture profession starting as Certified Green Building Professionals. Those who do so and work under the supervision
of architects will accrue work experience that counts toward qualifying for the California architecture license exam.
