Green Building and Sustainable Design: The Whole Story
Much that is presented about green building these days is product driven or ideology oriented. Neither approach tells the whole truth about what’s most desirable and doable. This presentation will provide the total picture of how and why buildings can pay for themselves by producing more energy than they use, restoring natural habitat, cleaning the air, recycling and reclaiming waste, enhancing health with inexpensive natural heating and cooling, and effectively use low-cost natural materials. How to safely and economically go off the grid, off the water main, and even off the sewer line. It’s all doable but news of all the possibilities and how to integrate them in economical and beautiful buildings is not getting out yet.
